2025 was off to a great start.  A team led by Drs Tandon, Adeli, and Vakharia were able to perform 36 cataract surgeries and change the lives of many.

This man was blind from cataracts and glaucoma and had two family members help him around everywhere. After surgery he immediately started naming the things he could see that he couldn’t see before and he was thrilled.

This has been a wonderful opportunity for me the past 2 years. The opportunity to work with my dad and help people who are less fortunate than I am is something I will remember forever. This experience has spiked my interest in the medical field because it’s extremely fulfilling and something I want to continue in the future.    – Ellie Tandon
